Be warned though, reaching it is through some structures that need maintenance. If you are limited in movement, you might find getting there a little difficult. It is definitely worth visiting... Check this tower if you don't mind narrow snail-stairs:) it cost 600Huf/adult, and the prize contain a small historical overview of the castle at the other side of the road above the souvenirs shop.

I've been to many European cities and visited many castles but this fire tower is my favorite so far believe it or not. It's only because it makes piano music melody by Hungarian composer every hour. Not very special, it is not too high, and even if you climb to the top there are not too much see. The ground part is from the 13. century.

You just climb the stairs and see the town. Thats it. It is better to take a local with you who can explain what you see. Avoid in round time. It plays a lud music in every hour.

The scenic is nice from the tower, if you are in Veszprem, good to see it. High: 48 meters. The lower part of the building was built in the 13th Century.
