This zoo is cheap to get into 4 euros and that include the dinopark. There is also swings and slides which my son enjoyed more then the zoo. My son likes animals and we have been to many different zoos, aquariums, safari parks etc this one though made me realise why zoos have bad names. The first thing was the... More

I have only visited the Zoo during Spring and Summer so I cannot say much for the experience during fall or winter times, but from what I have read and heard from other people at least winter is not that great to visit. Taking a bus or taxi there is the easiest way, it's bordering outside of the old town... More

Ok so you can get here easily by bus (32) from train station for 0.90c and its only 4 euro to get in (in winter) Dino park closed. Note all food outlets are as well, there is no where to eat or drink in winter, toilets are open. However although its value for money on reflection myself and my wife... More

The public transport in Bratislava is great, so getting there wasn't an issue. When we arrived, we noticed the bus stop directly outside didn't have a ticket machine, but there is one further up the road and slightly to the East. Within the zoo itself, there's little in english to help find your way, but the maps are really easy... More

Firstly, the dinopark made Bratislava zoo worth visiting at this time of the year when most animals are not found in the zoo..hidden indoors or taking to another place. Couldn't understand why it's only one euro difference in price btw summer when all animals are there and winter when few are found even the dinopark don't function at its max.... More

This zoo is the worst one I have seen. You have to walk a lot to see an animal. Many bushes, does not seem like well-kept. I was ready to go when we came to the dinosaur park. What a fantastic place! My kids were finally smiling. The best part of the zoo is dinosaur park. Quite sad.

Visited this zoo in October and found that the place was empty meaning a relaxing day looking at the animals. 4 euro to get in which is excellent value as the place is big and we ended up being there around 3 hrs. Loads of animals to look at and some different to those you find in a British zoo.... More

This zoo is very really cheap to enter compared to British zoo's They have a wider range of animals that we don't tend to have in England i.e wolves, bears etc They also have a 'Dinosuar land' with loads of dinosaurs scattered throughout a small valley in the woods, half of which are mechanical and move and make sounds which... Some enclosures were very big, however some others.. The worst I've seen in a zoo untill now was the enclosure of the brown bear: he was caged in a very small area with no grass or soil but just concrete. The site of this bear was upsetting. Further more was the zoo not well maintained, nor were the enclosures of... More

This is the worst ZOO I've been to. The whole ZOO is run down - weeds everywhere, rusty fences, broken pavements, not well signed, etc. It started at the cashier. I joined a queue at the cashier who had a VISA and Mastercard stickers on it, only to be told (rather rudely) that they don't take cards there and I... More
