The castle itself didn't impress me, but the views were nice. Not only can you see much of Bratislava, you can also see across the borders to neighbor countries.

The old town is small so it won't be inconvenient to walk up the hill to see this magnificent place day or night. We did not go inside the castle but walked all around it to see the grounds and the city below.

We took the small tourist bus up here . Apart from the view there is absolutely nothing to see or do-waste of time.

Nicely renovated, with beautiful gardens. Nice view of the city and the river. It was a good disappointment what you see in the movies and what you here about Slovakia. Its much better then Bucharest :)) Its clean and full of good peoples.

This castle sits high on a hill and has the most fantastic view over the Danube and beyond. We didn't visit inside it but the grounds are very nice to walk through and the renovated garden at the back is lovely, if a little harsh...More

I really enjoyed Bratislava castle. The view from the castle is fantastic. The garden of Maria Theresa is beautiful. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a privat venue.

I was there on sunday and entry was free, other days you need to pay to enter castle. And yes, there is many things to see inside because castle is huge historic museum from ancient to medieval ages.
