OLD TOWN HALL ( STARA RADNICA ) is one of the oldest Town Hall buildings in Slovakia and probably the oldest buildings in Bratislava. A 14 century building having been constructed by 1370 it's located in one of the cities most beautiful squares namely Hlavne Namesti which is a major tourist attraction. The town hall also contains the Bratislavian City... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit here. I'd expected a quick little wander round but it just kept going. I was the only person in that morning so i wandered up the tower alone - great 360 views over the city and across to the Castle. The chapel is quite beautiful and there are numerous artifacts charting the city's history.

Well worth a visit. The courtyard is nice and the museum inside takes a surprisingly long time to work your way around. Information in the tower about the history of the city is worth looking at.

I am probably being a bit unfair in saying this is average but nor could I describe it as "very good". It was a good way to start our visit to Bratislava but although most of the exhibits have labels in English, the film which looked fascinating and used old views had no sub titles which is a pity. There... More

Stumbled into the courtyard almost by accident. Quiet and relaxing and a refuge from the biting north wind blowing that day. Given the number of beautiful buildings in the general area it would be easy to miss but take the time to find it. You will be pleased you did.

A hidden gem, cheap to get in about 4 euros, large sprawling museum with lots of interesting history. You also can climb the tower and get great views across the square. Downstairs is also the torture museum, all included. Cloakroom lockers and toilets all inside.

The Old Town Hall is located in the main square of the old town (Hlavne Namestie and is a typically attractive looking building. I didn't go inside - although it seemed to be possible to do so. Worth a quick stop whilst exploring the old town.
