It was interesting to visit the Old Town Hall which also had nearby two other buildings that had also served as town halls. Nice photo opportunity and plenty of interesting history.

My favorite courtyard in Bratislava, beautiful architecture of old times picturesque towns, when visiting museum option to visit the tower with a nice view.

The old town hall now houses the Bratislava City Museum, the oldest museum in Slovakia. A rather unimposing building despite its significance in the past

Despite being packed with tourists, it is fascinating to see how this city was built to defend it and how the buildings changed through the centuries and even the cute addition of modern statues that add humor and insight into the upbeat Slovakian personality.

Situated between the Main Square (Hlavne namestie) and Primate's Square, the hall is the oldest stone building in Bratislava and is in gothic revival architecture with a great courtyard.

The museum is much bigger than you think it could be from the outside. It's a real labyrinth and gives you an amazing tour through the history of the city. In addition you have access to the tower, which gives you an amazing 360 degree...More
