We were charged 5 euro each, went thru to 2 rooms full of mostly bits of fabric and carved wooden bits...and that was it! That was the history of Bratislava. When we come back out to the lobby to ask if there was any more...More

This museum is housed in the Old Town Hall, and it is certainly one of those museums where the building is as much the attraction as the exhibits. It has a splendid courtyard with fine stonework and even a few surviving Gothic portions. The Baroque...More

This is a surprisingly good museum and a tower with a great view of the city. You really should do this if you are in Bratislava. We visited on our last morning in Bratislava but it deserves to be much higher up on the list...More

We loved the augmented reality at the Bratislava City at the Town Hall. It's quite a climb to the top of the tower - but the views are AMAZING - over the city, over the square and beyond. The wifi helps too - so you...More

I only spent one day in Bratislava, but I'm glad I spent the time on this museum. Although the staff don't speak much English, all of the signs and displays were well translated. Aside from the exhibits, which were fascinating, the building and architecture were...More

The one thing about a visit to the Bratislavia City Museum is that the most memorable part of this attraction is the building that the museum is housed in. Housed in the stunning Old Town Hall if you've any interest in visiting the museum tour...More

We had only a bit more than an hour in this museum which was not near enough time for us. The first floor was a lot of religious relics which was only mildly interesting but the higher the floor the more interesting. There is a...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
We have about 2 hours free time after our 1 1/2 hour guided walking tour of the old town on a Saturday afternoon before we depart the city. I am thinking of spending that time in the City Museum or walking to the castle to visit the Museum of History there as well as the interior of the castle and the view. Should I even consider walking to the St. Elizabeth Blue Church? Which would you choose if you have been to visit both? Thanks for a suggestion to spend my limited time in Bratislava.
