We almost missed this guy as we were walking through the old town area. Luckily a lot of other people had seen him and were taking photos, so we stopped to see what they were looking at. It is a funny statue of a sewer worker who is taking a break and looking out over the street.

This is one of many Street street art found all over Bratislava. Unusual attraction but good fun. Ideal for photos

Which reminded me a lot of the statues in Klaipeda. Don't go out of your way to find it, but if you stumble across him, grab a picture.

According to my slightly outdated eastern europe Lonely Planet guide, this is the most photographed location in Bratislava. It's basically ehat it looks like: a statue of the upper body of a man peering out from an imaginary sewer. It's a bit of fun, and you should definitely roam around the old town anyways, so why not stop by and... More

Some of the people moaning that they don't know what the fuss is need to get a life! Most city breaks to capital cities are full of crowded pushing-and-shoving tourist traps (we saw our fair share of them in Vienna)... so I found the statues to be a daft way to pass a bit of time if the weather is...
