I walked by the river that day and just saw the ruins from down there, it was great but I think it will be much better if we had went up, but the weather didn't allow it that day. anyway the place really worth the visit if you are in Bratislava.

I was very glad I decided to visit Devin Castle. The views are really wonderful. A great piece of history. Try to go before it gets dark and leave yourself at least an hour to walk around the grounds and take pictures.. The 28 or 29 bus can you take you here, but factor in some time as you must... More

Easy to get to from Bratislava, the castle and ruins are in great condition. The upper castle is closed right now, but the lower castle ruins with the views of the Danube is open. The incline is steep to get from the admission gate to the castle, so while a wheelchair could access the castle, it would be an effort.... More

Wonderful site at confluence of the Danuabe and Moravia rivers. About 25 min bus ride from the Old Town. Very historic site , although much of what is now there was rebuilt in last 20 years with grants from Norway, Iceland and the Bratislava City Council, nevertheless there are old parts. All signs are in Slav and English and explain... More

We caught the No 29 bus from underneath the UFO bridge for a 20 minute bus journey to the terminus at Hrad Devin and enjoyed peaceful setting and amazing views from the castle of the Danube and Morava and beyond . Lots of information boards and a short stroll to the Memorial to those killed trying to cross the iron... More

You can have nice walk toward the top of ruin and if there is fine whether you can enjoy nice view on Danube and Morava rivers.. I would recommend the trip here during summer time as you have bigger chance for good wheather. Historical ruins are romantic, you can learn about historical events in this area. Very good place also... More

By coincidence we got to know about the castle from a friend of our family. We have been many times in Bratislava but never to Devin which is something like 10 kilometer from the city center. Once you climb the hill visitor will be rewarded with a lovely view on the river mouth of the Blue Danube and the March... More

Szép és hangulatos, kár hogy a zezon kivül a mosdók nem müködnek, de a lenti szállóban vannak. Mooi en sfeervol, jammer dat de wc's buiten het seizoen niet werken, in het hotel beneden is het alternatief. Nice and special atmospere, a shame toilet Are out of order out of the tourist season but thé hotel below offers thé alternatieve. Joli... More
