The views there was awesome. I was in love with this place. You should see it! Firstly you have to go up and then you buy a ticket and your journey is start. The guider told you a lot of interesting things and you can enjoy it. I was!

A beautiful place to go take a look. I recommend to take the shorter round, though, as we did (about 50 minutes to 1 hour?) - you see plenty of cave structures, lakes and an underwater river, but arent dead tired at the very end.

We joined a non-English trip after waiting almost two hours in the queue (the next English-guided tour was an hour later and we did not want to waste all day on the cave). The cave is very nice and rich, and the history that we read before our visit (no English explanation during the guided trip) about hiding guns from... More

Even without understanding any of the Slovak guide's narration, we were blown away by this incredible cave! Its "rooms" are enormous, filled with an amazing variety of formations. The river thunders through the lowest level on the tour -- awe-inspiring. And just beautiful, every step of the way.

But the cave is very much worth visiting, with beautiful shallow pools and a stagnate forest. Meaning you are squeezing among them in a narrow paths. It is cold inside (about zero degrees), so take a coat or a sweater or both. It's a long tour (1.5 hour), middle complexity. A lot of steps to climb. We managed with our... More

Must see. Well prepared tour through one of the most beautiful cave in the whole Slovakia. A bit hard to reach it and I would recommend to have a ticket in advance as maximum group size is very limited due to numbers of visitors and if you are nearby, chose earlier morning time 9-10 am

We were in the region for vacation in early September. My wife vividly remembers this place as a child. Our 9 year old had a great time experience the cave. The tour is long about 1.5 hours children should have warm clothes on as the temperatures are on the cold side. The tour is not for toddlers children under 5.... More

We visited on a Sunday and went on the longer tour (100 minutes if I recall correctly). For us it started at 13:15. There's a public bus from the town which stops on the road running close to the cave entrance and costs €1 per person for a single journey. From the bus stop, you then need to walk up... More
