• Money Museum, Totoriu st., displays the development of money through the ages. Interactive and modern with lots to learn and much more to see than immediately meets the eye. Open Saturday. Sign a bit small so don't miss it. Paper money form all over the world. Free entry and need 1 hour minimum

Beautiful museum with lots of technology and beautiful exhibition that just took my breath away. I loved every moment of it! And we had a magnificent guide Nijolė (I think...). She is woman who loves what she do and she is expert of the subject. And you can found a object what made in the Guinness world records! Amazing!

This Museum is quite easy to miss, and although we were on the right street, we had to ask twice for directions. The signage on the building is small and undistinguished. Once inside, we found it a small space, but very well utilized. Admission is free, and you begin with the downstairs room. The Museum consists of exhibits related to... More

This place is cool. Lot to read and see. We made our own bookmark with a coin on it, an made a euronote with our picture on - and it's all free, fantastic. The quiz inside is way to difficult

Good technical equipment, audio guide on PC, very varied money - old, new, made from paper and metal. I liked the activities with a scales- it measures your weight and gives you as a result your price if you would be made of gold, silver or platinum))) also you can try how heavy is an ingot of gold, silver and... Quite small museum, but full of different amusements about money: from history of coins used in Lithuania to old bank equipment to wall interactive screen showing all banknotes and money systems used in almost all countries of the world. If you know something about the money, start a quiz and print banknote with your own photo as a prize!

This was an unexpected fun place to visit. A lot of the museum focuses on the history of money and currency and adds in the history of Lithuanian currency. It was a pleasant surprise that the museum is free of charge so it made for a nice place to rest for a bit.
