Beautiful church next to St. Anne's. Massive buttresses. Was converted by the Soviets to a warehouse before being restored to a church after independence.

Beautiful church, with St Anne's next door. Was easy to visit and we stayed and watched mass and listened to the beautiful music.

One of the most beautiful churches in Vilnius. It is the largest old-gothic building in Lithuania. The altar of Saint Cross that contains an image of Crucifix which is probably the most known object that the church can boast. The altar became well-known because of some miracles during the war with Moscow in 17th century.

Bernadine church has lovely architecture. It is situated at Maironio 8 next to St Anne's church. Both worth visiting.

This building is not unique in the world. It is pretty but not extraordinary. Drop by, observe and take a rest.

The stunning Gothic St. Anne Church (most beautiful in Vilnius - see my review on it) is the prime reason you came there. It stands frontally on the street and from the small square in front of it, the Bernardine Church looks like an annex or part of it. In fact, the Bernardine Church is a 15 cent Catholic church... Adjacent and slightly behind St. Anne's is Bernardine Church. Another spectacular church, one can not help but be impressed with the intricate carved detail. Attention should also be paid to the frescos. The ceiling is another magnificent feature with its molding against a white back ground. Originally founded by the Bernardine Monks in the 15th century, it was part of... More
