I can’t really say the site impressed me. The church itself is quite unassuming and modest. The doors were locked, so could not get inside. Maybe it was on account of some work being done there. The little courtyard in which it sits is nice enough and as you will be passing in Vene st. from or towards St.Nicholas Orthodox... More

We had a beatiful christening ceremony conducted by Fr. Alfonso di Giovanni. The ceremony was quite long, around 40 minutes but our 3-months old son took it very well. He was actually listening to the priest! My guess that he was attracted to Fr. Alfonso lovely voice and very kind and friendly attitude towards all people in general. He is... More

There is a little water fountain in the courtyard. It is situated away from the main part of Tallinn Old Town. I found the architecture of the building... More

Set off with its own small courtyard is this wonderful church. Quiet dignity and serene. Stop by and say a prayer.

This is a relatively plain cathedral for this medieval old town, and it's set a bit back from the street. That makes it a little more calm and peaceful. Still worth a stop.

Has an English speaking Mass on Saturday night--although I'm not Catholic, I enjoyed going to an English speaking worship service when I lived in Tallinn

This church is not much advertised but it is located in the very heart of Old Tallin near Market Square. Please pay a visit!

The church if lovely, if a little plain, owing to the ravages inflicted on it during the Reformation. I have to say that I was a little disappointed by the liturgy--it felt rushed and lacked the appropriate level of solemnity. Let's put it this way: I attended Mass on Palm Sunday and we were in and out in just over... More
