I have seen this place a million times in various TV documentaries, since I was a teenager. Nothing could prepare me to visit this vast field, which once changed the history of Estonia. We were almost tearful, when walking around in this field. The songs...More

We spent a few minutes here on a guided tour off a cruise ship. I spent a half hour reading about this place beforehand. Now, days later, I still find myself thinking about it. You'll see an empty stage and an open field, but you'll...More

Amazing location with view towards to Baltic Sea this area shows the Estonian love of being outside and their joy of music. A very important site for the Estonian fight for independence in the late 1980's The Singing Revolution could not have a better 'battleground'...More

Song Festival Ground turns into winter wonderland while no one performing. Children with sledges sliding down. Lots of fun. We explore acoustics - excellent!

We came here as part of an organised tour. I liked the history and the stories. The grounds themselves are nothing special. Worth a visit but only if with a guide who can tell you the history and stories.

Went to Electronic Family Festival here this summer. Great outdoor venue right on the water with a ton of history. Definitely don't stop in Tallinn without reading about this place and making a visit on a nice day.

As a park and a stage and band shell this is an average attraction. With a good guide this is an incredible stop. Estonia was free from 1920 to 1939. Then with no weapons or defences was subject to occupation and subjugation by first the...More
