This church dates from the 1200s, and it still quite beautiful inside. Even more fun is the medieval village of Tallinn, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's lovely to walk through and there are plenty of little kiosks selling local trinkets in the...More

The church has a old school feel to it. The pews have little doors at each end. There are a lot of artifacts on the walls. It is definitely worth the visit.

St. Mary’s Cathedral was founded in 1240, but first mentioned in 1233. Originally Catholic it became Lutheran in 1561, and today is the seat of the Archbishop of Tallinn. I have to mention, because is new for me the numerous Coat of Arms from the...More

Sitting up on the hill, this active and old church is quite nice. You can go in and view the sanctuary for free. If one wants to get closer and see more- there is a small fee to pay. worth, walking through the free part.

A fine upstanding church, free to enter and fine inside. The wooden plaques inside are unique as is the religion of the church which is still practiced by locals. Have a look its worth it.
