The Dome Church situated in the Toompea area is very pretty and well worth visiting. Sadly it was closed for a service the day we visited .

As a Lifelong practicing Lutheran, I am disappointed that I could not take any non-flash photos of the church’s interior. That seems so unLutheran-like. However, at least I had a chance to scan the very dark interior housing coats of arms and other medieval paraphernalia....More

This is a terrible church. Great for outside pictures, but inside like a funeral dirge of sad music, and funerial type wreaths on the walls. After seeing the Russian Orthodox Cathedral this was a real downer. Stay outside.

This is a very old church steps away from a city overlook (it is not the best overlook in the area). You can walk into the church for free but if you want to get close to anything, you must pay the entrance fee.

Established sometime before 1233 and repeatedly rebuilt since, the church displays a mix of architectural styles. Visiting the church requires a donation and admittance to the tower is extra

A very beautiful church, with some lovely, friendly staff and a very rude, grumpy unfriendly staff, rude to his fellow staff members and rude to the visiting public. This is unfortunate, because I found it a very nice church to see.

Site of one of the oldest buildings in Tallinn. Behind the heavy doors there is an attractive and warm space. Very impressive coats of arms decorate the church.

It was Easter, and the access was free. Very friendly people told about the church . We were invited to beat the Service, but, unfortunately, we were lack of time.

Lovely old church with a very different style interior with some lovely German epitaph plaques and wood carvings as well as some interesting memorial plaques for the Royal Navy from their involvement in helping Estonia after WW1.
