The place I liked the most

Definitely worth visiting! Very peaceful in winter. I went back on foot (apr. 6 km) - the view of the city in the dusk from the embankment is awesome!

I can't tell you how important the Baltic Sea was for me while living in Tallinn. From Tallinn I eventually walked to Pirita - following the walking trail by the Baltic Sea. It's got plenty of places to sit and regroup, some interesting outdoor sculptures but be careful for bike riders and roller skaters. I loved it.

I was here in January & the beach was even beautiful with ice upon the waters. The spas here are very good; even at midnight in frigid January. Yes, I tried it & was refreshed after walking in the snow. You can look one way & see city lights, and look the other way & see Tallinn lights. All in... More

It was a beautiful September day when our guide took us to this beach after a quick tour of the Kadriorg Palace and gardens. In the warm weather some locals were actually in the ocean but for us the Baltic Sea was just not warm enough. There is at least several miles of this beach and our guide said that... More

About 6-7km from City Centre to East is this lovely area, which is known for its beautiful beach. Some of the buildings/hotels are from Soviet era, because 1980 Moscow Olympics' sailing competitions were held here. Good for biking, jogging, water activities etc. If you don't have too much time, it's good to go first to Kadriorg Park and then Pirita,... More

I visited there in july. This is one of the main beach areas in Tallinn. The beach is a short walk from the Kadriorg palace. The easy to get with public transport by bus ( n: 1A and 8 ) from Viru bus terminal.

I visited there in autumn. Since it was before snowfall I could enjoy walking in the sandy beach stretch spanning more than 4km. Nice view.

In good weather Pirita has a lot to offer. You can walk/jog in the beach or promenade. You can rent a rowing boat or a sup board etc. Also sometimes they have a bonfire at night so works as a pre party or other chilling.

The beach is a short walk from the Kadriorg palace. It has nice panoramic views of the bay and the old center of Tallinn. We also have seen kiiking competition, local swinging sport which was nice to watch.
