The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

Visiting teletower was part of our press trip and we liked it a lot! It was nicely renovated, interesting and a bit suprising also. We had such a lovely guide and we felt warmly welcome right away. Don't forget to check little movie theater- it's beautiful!

I liked more the view above the old town from Oleviste church tower than the view here. If I climb this high and pay for it, I would rather see skyscrapers and citylife. For me seeing forest and water is just too close to home. If you feel extreme enough you can book a climb on the edge of the... More

We took the 34A bus from the centre of Tallinn out to the tower. It was very quiet when we were there. Some nice views, but unfortunately the cafe was closed. It was ok, but just ok. Not sure if it is worth the €10 each?!?! The lift up to the top us very quick though!

Thanks for Your feedback. Cafeteria/Restaurant will be reopened again very soon. We are still working hard to add more entertaining exhibitions. Did You visit history exhibition and 3D cinema as well? More

Winter time, however, is not the best time to visit the tower ...White landscape, there is no information about 3D cinema, it noticed just looking at the 2nd exposure. For children a good comparative tool -TV tower and height gauge.

Tv tower provides nice views - unfortunately the upper level is under renovation so people can't get to outside viewing platform.

Thanks for Your feedback. Restaurant is under renovation and will be reopened again very soon. Viewing platform is opened when possible. When its closed, it's because of safety. More

Only a short enough bus ride out of town - even in poor weather there were some views to be seen. In summer I'd have liked to have done the walk on the outside but all that was available was the small balcony off the restaurant.

Busy place, even on a frigid cold day in January. Educational, informative... a bit out of the way & a challenge to find, but I did it. I would NOT go on one of those high rides - too scary.

There has the elevator what take to at yhe top. And at the top there has a sightseeing platform with interactive exhibition. Hard toget there but when you are there it worth to visit. Also it is good to combine this with botanical garden visit which is quite near.

I was there in January, I do liked it, maybe 10€ is too expensive for ticket, but I wanted to see that 360° view so badly. I didn't liked that there was windows all around I would prefer to see it with wind in my hair (:d) but still the view impressed me. I definitely suggest you go and visit... More

It is a thing to do, not recommended if you only have a few days in tallinn, but is still interesting. A fun view, but its like any other TV tower. Go on a clear day
