We wish we had more time to explore this wonderful museum. The second floor with Estonian art was amazing... We delighted in seeing three artists in a far off room of the museum, painting copies of the art. Really special. Don't miss this Kumu as...More

Four floors of masterpieces, well worth the time and entry fee. Bonus is the small coffee shop with fresh salads and home baked pastries and friendly employees.

A small nation, but what brilliant painters! Feeling very jealous. Also the way it is displayed is fantastic. While there please make sure you visit the park on the way to the museum.

This an architectural gem and one of high points of our trip to Tallinn. All Estonian artists, and while they do not number among the great artists of the world, one is impressed by the high ability and vision. Gebhardt's painting of the sermon on...More

Very interesting collection, many interesting painters about whom I had never heard before visit. Too bad that they sell practically no posters of their interesting collection. The top floor contains paintings and sculpture of the Soviet era, along with many videos of people reporting their...More

Housed in a modern building on several floors, the museum gives a view of Estonian art over the period from ?1800 up to recent years but is, not surprisingly and as you would expect, strongest on the Estonian art of the 20th century. Although fairly...More

You can either take tram 1 or 3, or walking along the beautiful coast line, which is my favorite route. The art museum is located in the vicinity of the old royal Summer residence, which is a fascinating art museum itself!
