Riga's Old Town is like many other Old Towns. It's nice, but not really special. I have not been there in the summer, but in the autumn and early spring it was quiet. Recommended off course if you go to Riga.

We had a beautiful walk around the old Riga town. Very beautiful and well maintained. Lots of dining option with tasty, affordable food and gorgeous old City view. It's very romantic place :) We recommend this place for all 'old Europe towns' lovers!

A maze of narrow lanes and streets, easy to get lost if you dont get yourself a free tourist map before you start. Lots to see and plenty of places to visit the interior of if it is raining.

Surprised about how well the buildings are so well maintained and clean. Riga's old town has some really good restaurants, shops, clubs and more. Just make sure you check the menu prices before entering a restaurant and avoid the Strip clubs in the old town...More
