After the House of Blackheads, this church is the Riga's edifice we most liked. It is located in the historic center of Riga and with its spire of belfry, dominates the cityscape. That is also one of the oldest and most valuable monumental architecture edifices...More

Beautiful building and well worth the photos, I couldn't get in on the day and so just wandered around the outside, worth it though.

The church is beautiful and the views from the steeple are wonderful on a clear day. I enjoyed a lovely concert here and the setting and sound quality were perfect.

The church from the outside looks very old and it is not "polished" - mostly left as it is. The price to go the panorama is quite high, but students can get a discount. The area on the top is not big, not so many...More

St. Peters Church is not the most ornate/ stunning Church around, but it was fun to take the elevator 123m up to the tower. We got a good view over the city, though prices were a bit high for an elevator-trip: 9euros per adult..

You get some wonderful views of Riga at the top of the tower and would recommend just for that. The 1960's elevator that you have to go up in to get to the top is hilariously antiquated... Didn't sound/feel in too great a shape but...More

If you just want to see the church, don't bother. There's nothing special to see inside, just a tall brick building. The main attraction here is the view. Take the elevator to the top and get a great view of the old town and beyond.

Interesting church to visit in the oldest part of the town, surrounded with cobbled squares and narrow streets

You get some wonderful views at the top of the tower and would recommend just for that, little bit pricey at €9. Only downside is the 1960's elevator that you have to go up in to get to the top... Didn't sound/feel in too great...More
