This park was beautiful. I caught it as the leaves were changing from orange to fallen. It reminded me of Central Park in New York with the bridges, lamps and paths. There is a canal boat tour available which takes you down the Daugava River...More

If you have a free time in the old town go to this park. In summer you can take a small boat. In winter its full of various Christmas decorations and in autumn latvians celebrate independence day and making this park with great light objects.

During a visit to Riga this was suggested to me through trip advisor. The park is a lot bigger than it first appears and winds along the river. It was a crisp autumn day and the colours were beautiful.

The autumn colours makes this place breathtaking. One of the nicest places in Riga. Sit down on a park bench with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view.
