Beautiful historical building in Nida. Tickets price is five euros and you can buy in the lighthouse. Don’t get scared about lighthouse interior This is unique opportunity to visit some historical buildings.

The views from above the lighthouse were amazing. Tickets cost 5 euro per adult. The stairs weave all the way up, then at the top there is a short ladder. Avoid if you are scared of heights. Seeing a lighthouse in a forest was a unique experience for me and I thouroughly enjoyed it. The path we took to the lighthouse was short but steep, so be careful what shoes you wear.

The steep uphill walk leading up to lighthouse is beautiful and quite enjoyable. You can’t enter the lighthouse but on a day with good weather it’s a great place for a picnic

Nice lighthouse

Nice lighthouse on a hill with lots of a comfortable tracks on it. But Nida's government should do something about a lighthouse exterior. It needs urgent dyieng.

Only if you are a lighthouse fan!

It is a steepish walk up to the lighthouse. You cannot go in, so take the time only if you are a special fan of lighthouses. Arguable it looks more impressive from a distance

Urbo hill and the lighthouse

Urbo hill is one of the highest hills (dunes) in Nida. It rises about 51 m. above sea level. It takes the name from the word “urbas” (pit, hole), because a hollow used to be on top of this dune. In 1870-1874 it was from all sides planted with mountain pines. The old Nida lighthouse flaunts on top of this hill along with a viewpoint. This is one of the largest lighthouses on Lithuanian seacoast. A 27 meter high lighthouse of red bricks was built in 1874. The cobble-stone path of 200 stairs led to the lighthouse which has still remained in present.
