A really nice place to visit, it's huge and deep. You cant believe there is a whole town up there. Un lugar bonito e increiblemente grande. Parece imposible que viva todo un pueblo encima. Digno de visitar.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is well worth a visit. There are a lot of steps at the beginning to take you down into the mine so be aware of this if you have knee or mobility issues. A lift is used to exit the mine....More

Still as impressive as the first time and now they have an extra part open on one or two days each week - so if planning a visit be sure to ask so that you get the benefit of the extra chambers they have opened.

I agree with barbilibrarian. This is not an appropriate tour for a 2-year-old. The stairs are very steep and it is a long way down. The child will get bored very quickly and it is not easy to quit the tour. An unhappy child... More

I would recommend to use the train from Krakow Glowny (main railway station). It was very cheap and there is frequent connection and also you need not to worry about where to go out as it's the last stop on the route... More

Actually I just saw a similar question on another thread and there someone answered: "There is a tour for disabled 3 times a day: 9, 12.45, 17. You should call and book it in advance." Could be worth it to call them and see... More
