Wandered into this park after walking across the bridge. The gardens themselves are lovely and the kids were pleasantly surprised to find a fitness area where played happily while most of the adults explored.

Don't miss this romantic park NEAR THE BRIDGE (and bring your kids)
You will find this park when you cross the old bridge and turn right. The entrance is just past the church. Hardly any tourists, which is hard to believe given it's location! It is one of the loveliest and most romantic parcs I've seen. Very green and luscious, beautifully…

Springtime visit
Stunning with wisteria dripping everywhere. Calm, meditative park free to the public. Situated on the banks of the river with a lovely view of Ponte de Lima and the Roman Bridge, this was a go-to early morning/late afternoon walk, contemplating spot.
