I love waterfalls anyway, but to see one INSIDE the Alps is extra special. This was a very cool attraction. The funicular to get up inside was fun in it's own right and the power of the waterfall inside was almost deafening. Well worth it....More

Even with all the other fabulous natural wonders of Switzerland, this one is worth a detour to visit. Easily reached via walk or bus from Lauterbrunnen. Magnificent walk through the mountain next to the twisting, roaring, foaming, multi-layered, multi-storied waterfall. The only fall that even...More

This was fantastic to visit with our children. Easy to access it with an elevator to the top and then possible to walk down. It was one of the most memorable sights from our 3 week trip.

This is a fun little outing. 11 CHF per person. Take the elevator up as there are still plenty of steps after that to go to the top. The engineering by God and man is pretty amazing.

These waterfalls just outside the hamlet of Lauterbrunnen (they have a station and a téléferique) are one of the many amazing sights not to be missed when visiting the Jungfrau region. Best in late Spring and early summer when the meltoff of the glaciers gives...More

It is actually nearer to Lauterbrunnen. There are several walking options 3-5 hrs, or you can take the bus or your car from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen it is a 45 min walk or a 15 min drive
