We joined the Queen Charlotte track in Picton and only having limited time did a couple of the shorter tracks. The track is very well signposted and there are many different tracks suited to people of different fitness levels. I think it would be very slippery after rain and take care with children, there are some steep unprotected edges. The... More

The walk was lovely but day 30 WA too long and hard to be considered a holiday. See if you can truncate day 3 some how.

We were dropped of by water taxi at Lochmare Lodge and walked back to Anakiwa. A total of about 19 kilometres. A wonderful experience - a well graded track with some stunning views along the way. Highly recommended.

We did the unguided walk and booked all the accommodations ourselves. It was easy and I would encourage anyone to do the same. There are stunning views along the way but nothing jaw dropping. A nice bush walk since much of it is covered with ferns. It is a bit more challenging than advertised but if you are in shape... More

Greg did a great job organising everything for us - and we had a spectacular meal at Punga Cove for NYE - 5 star!! The walk was a great experience for us all - unfortunately due to a child breaking a wrist - we were unable to complete the trek this time around. Thanks also to the Coastguard and the... More

We did a day walk (approximately 3.5 hours) from Anikiwa to the lookout above Puroa point. The track was very good and there were exceptional views from the lookout. Make sure you bring plenty of water and food. You can also have a swim at the wharf on you return ( as long as the tide is right). There are... More

Although it is extremely popular to self guide I chose a guide so I could experience with other like minded people as I was travelling alone. The whole experience was excellent including the lodges at night which were all uniquely different and all... More

Great track and views with food and beverage along the way and options of accommodation. Ideal for a family day trip or to walk the whole track 70km!
