Beautiful location. Outstanding wine

We drove out here and thought we were going to the back of beyond given the dirt road and lack of traffic - about 40 minutes from Oneroa. However, it is a beautiful drive and... read more

We drove out here and thought we were going to the back of beyond given the dirt road and lack of traffic - about 40 minutes from Oneroa. However, it is a beautiful drive and worth it in itself. And when we arrived it was like an oasis. It is a lovely set up with lots of tables out under... More

Had a delicious platter and sampled some wine. Being set up on the beach front in park-like surroundings with tables, bean bags etc was wonderful. Very relaxing. Lots of boats in the Bay and was stunning weather.

Being such a long trek over dusty roads, the man-o-war vineyard has to do something to attract people to this end of the island; free alcohol helps I guess ... Food is limited to platters but the view to the sea on a sunny day, sitting on the grass, drinking a glass of wine and chatting with friends is hard... More

We used to bring visitors here for a delicious anti pasto platter and wine, as part of driving them around the island ... Choose high tide when the bay is at its best. Their wines are very good and the outside area pleasant for relaxing in the shade. However the last time we went the platter was ridiculously small for... More

This is an amazing spot The drive is not for the faint of heart The menu is limited (tapas style) 3 options so not suited to a family…wonderful for couples but don't make our mistake!

Arrived on Sunday of a bank holiday weekend and VERY busy Nonetheless after finding probably the last remaining table we were extremely well looked after by friendly and helpful staff They offered a small tasting of only three wines but they were complimentary! After making our choice we ordered a bottle of very pleasant rose' and one of their excellent... More

As most reviews say if you are coming by car its a pain and out of the way down a windy dusty road. We almost decided to turn around and give up but glad we stayed the distance as we had a very relaxed visit once we got there. Found seats on the verandah, tasted a few wines and ordered... More

This place is in a beautiful location. Getting to it is a pain though, as you have to drive 8km down a bumpy, dusty gravel road. Once we were there I was disappointed at the less than cheerful staff (it makes me wonder who is in charge when almost all staff members are unenthusiastic or melancholy!) The wine is very... More
