Animals in tiny cement cages, garbage strewn around, tourists encouraged to sit on top of a tortoise...Paid for a one hour horse ride and got ten minutes and then the horse guide was mad because we didn't tip him....Avoid at all costs

Guided by Lebon who was very good. We go to tour a mini zoo, with various animals. Ostrich, Red tailed Hawk, Cara-cara, Alligators, Galapagos Tortise, red squirrels, and monkeys, (Lebon don't aggravate the monkeys) pigeons, owls, guinea fowl and some chickens. Went for a horse back ride to go fishing. Lebon was our guide, rowed the boat out for us... More

We visit everytime we are in the area. The restaurant is excellent and the horseback riding superb. Best guides in Cuba.

Lot's of activities to do here at a cost for a full day. We only visited the zoo part at a entry of £3.50 per adult For a small area with approximately 10 different animals in the area took about 25 minutes to walk around

We booked through our rep. went with our 2 girls aged 6 and 9. They loved the horse back riding and holding all the animals in the mini zoo. Really nice day out . Lovely friendly staff. Would recommend for a family day out.

The staff are very friendly & helpful, and the scenery is beautiful. However the conditions in the "mini zoo" are appalling. Most of the birds & animals are kept in tiny bare cages full of urine & faeces, with no enrichment , no vegetation & little shade. The misery on the face of the monkeys kept in a bare cage... More

My niece and I wanted to go horseback riding and this place was the perfect place for it. We were able to ride through mountain trails, on the beach and were able to experience a very authentic Cuban meal after the ride. When our meal was over we were treated to a visit of the gardens where the farmer treated... More

The overall experience was pretty neat. Visited the zoo, complete with a 40+ year old tortoise, and a couple of crocodiles. Took a ride on a wagon drawn by oxen and had a delicious lunch at the open air restaurant. The highlight was a beautiful Cuban Emerald Hummingbird, so close, I could have reached out and touched it.

I have waited a long time to write this review of the best fishing tour in Holguin area... yes you can go fishing for marlin and their friends but very few actually have a day like I enjoyed for such a reasonable price... get your rep in the hotel to make your reservations... the tour operators don't include this in...
