My wife and I travelled twice along the Richardson Highway during our escorted ‘Natural Wonders of Alaska’ tour with Titan Travel. Our first journey was from Glenallen to Valdez following our drive along the Glenn Highway from Anchorage to Glenallen. Our second journey at the end of our 2 night...More

Drove from Anchorage to Fairbanks this week via the Richardson Highway. Breathtaking views and moose sightings abound. Stopped to take many pictures so the drive took all day but that was our plan. Highly recommend.

We were lucky as the weather was fantastic! We saw moose, caribou, eagles and lots more. The mountains are just stunning and the highway is very good. This is a must (as is the Denali Highway) if you visit Alaska. Simply superb!

Travelled from Fairbanks to Valdez with an overnight stop at Tangle Lakes Inn. Beautiful scenery at all turns and glimpses of the Alaska Pipeline. As the road climbed to Thompson Pass the clouds rolled in, and visibility decreased to zero, plus driving rain. A touch...More
