Beautiful hike ! Trail runs along the side of the lake. Has spectacular views. You can see a birds, boats, cacti, lizards a variety of wildlife sometimes wild horses drinking at the lake. Trail is any easy walk with a slow up climb.

The food is good here, but the strawberry shortcake is the best in the country! Such a pretty area with the lake and mountains, plus you can take a cruise from here.

The boat cruise was very nice . The crew was very friendly and had lots of great information. The restaurant had fabulous food at reasonable prices. Portions were large.

This was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and highly recommend goung there. Only wish more people would take there empty containers with them when they leave.

Great facility at the Butcher Jones beach area!! Good parking, easy load and unload. Very family friendly, also very cool to watch the wild horses walk through!!!!
