My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip along the Avenue of the Giants. To be fully surrounded by these amazing trees, at a more leisurely pace was worth every minute.

A handy tip is to make sure you collect a pamphlet at the start of the trail. It is housed in a mail box on the side of the road. The pamphlet points out several interesting stops, with ample space for vehicles. You can wander...More

Started at the Southern end and drove North. Neat little visitors center to get the history and background if the area and the Redwoods. We drove the full length but after so many miles it gets a little repetitive. Definately worth the drive but maybe...More

An extremely picturesque drive through the Redwood Forest. We entered at the Southern Entrance, near Phillipsville, and exited at the Northern Entrance, near Scotia. You can stop at many places along the roadway. Two of the interesting places we stopped at were "The Living Chimney...More

A delightful trip to view some amazing redwoods! It was serene, humbling, and enlightening to experience the gradiose trees. I felt the magestic trees sensation of peace. So well worth the adventure. It is a must see!

We stayed in Eureka which was about a half hour north of the Avenue of the Giants. There are several hotels there. The Best Western Plus Bayshore Inn was pleasant with a room by the garden area. Hope you have a lovely trip.
