short but beautiful road trip

very close to Boise. Only took a half hour to get up the roads, but WOW beautiful. We brought a lunch and had lunch on the mountain. A great way to spend an afternoon

very close to Boise. Only took a half hour to get up the roads, but WOW beautiful. We brought a lunch and had lunch on the mountain. A great way to spend an afternoon

The drive from Boise to the top of Bogus Basin is short19 miles up you gain almost 4000 ft in that drive ! The road is narrow and windy , I drive it on my motorcycle , I love it The view on top is super, you get an idea how lovely Idaho is ! Don't miss it ,

This 19 mile road to the top ,where the Bogus Basin Ski Resort is located , is a great drive ...any time of the year. It has winding roads with cut outs for stops to take in the increasingly amazing views , as you climb higher Into the mountain side. A photographers dream, with mountains , wild life , unique... More

Bogus Basin is a must see should you visit Boise, Idaho USA if you are not afraid of height it is a beautiful attraction. When there, it feels like you are in a different world. I love it. Very peaceful. As hot as Boise was when I visited, going to Bogus it feels like I was in an air-conditioned room.

Loved this place. We took a break out of our business trip to visit here and thoroughly enjoyed the landscape. There was enough snow for us to get on on the Dinner Sleigh Ride (need to book in advance) for about a mile uphill to a mountain cabin where we had an great steak dinner. It was quite an experience.... More

With so many people in and around the Boise area, and Skiing and other winter sports as popular as they are, It is great that we all have a way to go skiing without having to plan a trip.
