Staff is wonderful. Play would be improved by some info about where to hit the ball. Don't get into the sand. Very ugly plugged lies. Excellent condition and beautiful. Fast greens. Could enjoy playing FD frequently. All holes are different and not at all derivative....More

Well folks, we went to this place based of some rave reviews. Major disappointment. The rooms were very, very basic, with ultra thin walls. You could hear people whispering in the hall way...no joke. The golf course was mediocre at best, as was the food...More

It was cold and we had a frost delay but we had heard so many positive things about this course we decided to tough it out. It was indeed beautiful and playable. Felt there were two holes that were too blind. Would be nice if...More

Probably the best maintained course I've seen. Nice layout and not a lot of blind shots. First time I played it and I really enjoyed it. Didn't play the new Loop course but it sounds interesting. Maybe next time!

We had very enjoyable dinner. If you're not driving try a Bloody Mary with sausage it was very good. The service was friendly and timing was good. If you're looking for a nice restaurant in Grayling, MI give it a try.

If you read my reviews, I hold a special place for Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas. I often refer to it as Disneyland for golfers. It is still my #1 track I have played. However, Forest Dunes is Heaven on Earth for golfers....More

There is the main FD course and the Loop which depending on the day can be played clockwise or anti-clockwise. Main FD course is good ,not great, but seems to be highly regarded so I guess it appeals to some more than it did me....More

Was a bit hard to find Forest Dunes as it's in the middle of nowhere but boy is it worth the trip. From the time we arrived, everything and everyone was first class. Their goal is to have you tell someone about their course AND...More

No idea. We stayed in one of the onsite houses which I guess have their own rules.
