The Keweenaw Peninsula is full of waterfalls, small shops, lava flow landscapes with wonderful beaches to explore. Stop at Copper World in Calumet, take the Quincy Mine tour and pretend to be a miner from the Copper boom. It's a great place for rock hounds...More

Beautiful and remote. Lovely drive, probably best in the fall. If you're looking to buy fantastic jams and baked goods, be sure to visit JamPot, run by a local monastery. It is located along the coastal drive.

Born and raised in a neighboring county of the Keweenaw Peninsula I always encourage visitors to head North on US 41 to Copper Harbor and surrounding area to experience the tranquility and beauty of the entire area. They are never disappointed.
