Took the Cog up to the summit. Expensive but worth the trip. Dress warm and sit on the left side going up and right side going down.

I took a solo hike up the Tuckerman Ravine trail from Pinkham Notch up to the summit of Mt Washington. 4.2 miles and 4,300 vertical feet climbed one way in 3 hours flat. The summit is a great place, but be careful of the weather,...More

Had an AWESOME time. I went up on a very cloudy day and couldn't see much, so the next day that was very sunny and clear I went again and the view was breath taking! Defiantly recommend.

I don't have any info on tours outside of Boston. Driving is a great way to see the foliage. The roads are wide and weren't busy when we went apart from a bank holiday weekend. Personally, would recommend driving.
