I boarded the Columbia River Sternwheeler at the Cascade Locks Waterfront Grill to take the last two hour cruise of the day. The cruise was for 1:30 PM to 3:45 PM, so boarding was around 1:15 PM. The weather had been very wet and rainy for a while, so I stalled to make sure I went on a full sunny... More

My husband and I took a two hour trip on Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler. Labor Day, we boarded the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler in the town of Cascade Locks and just a couple blocks east of the ‘Bridge of the Gods’. We had a choice of a one or two hour cruise. As we entered the ship, a special photo was taken... More

This was a relaxing and informative way to see the Girge from the water after driving up and down the river fir three days. The captain provided good information from the bridge, especially on the Bonneville dam. There was lots of room on the vessel and checking in/boarding was well organized. Great sunshine made it even better

We were surprised by family with an exceptional evening meal and cruise, on the Columbia River. The Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler is docked at Cascade Locks, just north of Bridge of the Gods. We boarded at 5:30 PM, a few hours before sunset, and enjoyed beautifully scenic ride, first up the Columbia River, then back down toward the Bonneville Dam. All... More

We booked the Sunday Brunch from 10 AM to Noon. Note to TripAdvisor! This is located at Cascade Locks, Oregon near Hood River, Oregon. Headquarters might be in Vancouver but this boat is not anywhere near there! This company offers many different boat rides from various locations. The boat departs and arrives at: Locks Waterfront Grill and Boat Dock 355... More

Yes, I may be one of the walking dead. I didn't know it before our arrival at the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, and I haven't bitten anybody yet, so you may be safe if you choose to continue reading further. Please, let me explain: We stepped on board the sternwheeler river boat and were seated on the port side of the... More

The Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington is one of the most beautiful sights on earth. There is no better way to see it than from the water. The Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler operated by the Portland Spirit company is an affordable and comfortable way to see this scenic area. The 2 hours cruise goes east an hour then west... More

We took the 5 hour cruise from Cascade Locks to Multnomaha Falls and return. The stern wheeler is clean and the crew works hard to make your trip enjoyable. The scenery in the gorge is wonderful.

We traveled from Miami, Florida to Cascade Locks, Oregon and booked a June 1 lunch cruise four months in advance and paid in full. But when we got to the hotel in Cascade Locks and went to check on our cruise for the next day, we were told it was canceled for lack of enough guests, DESPITE THE FACT THAT... More

We appreciate your review & feedback. We do apologize for the mistakes that happened with this cruise. We had recently begun a company-wide change to a completely new booking software. This was a complete overhaul from reservations, reporting, accounting and online systems. When the switch-over occurred this cruise was unavailable in our new system and thus unavailable for further bookings.... More

This was certainly not a "river cruise" experience. Lasted only one hour, thank goodness, with very unnotable scenery. This is just a ride along an industrial area. Not suitable for the disabled, due to long steep dangerous ramp, including several steps.

Thank you for sharing your review. We are a little confused. Which cruise were you on? While our Tri-Cities cruise, which we do for 10 days of the year, does have an industrial element our Columbia Gorge cruise in Cascade Locks is considered one of the most scenic in the Northwest. Highlights of the West Loop include the Bridge of... More
