We stayed at Mills Creek Resort & Marina and really enjoyed it. Penni, the office rep was so friendly and accommodating. The cabins down by the lake were more like log cabin homes with all the accommodations of home, other than no pets allowed inside. The cabins are a little outdated, but clean with a microwave and small fridge and... More

We live near the lake and love it! We have a boat slip at Grandpappy and spend most of our free time on the lake. People are very friendly.

The lake was a little high due to some recent flooding but was still a beautiful sight. The powerhouse was an awesome site as well. I haven't seen that much water being discharged in years from the lake. Great fishing and great camping areas. Great riding for motorcyclists around the lake and surrounding areas.

This lake is about like average. There are fun things to do. There are some good restaurants and swimming areas, but the easiest once to access are small. They do have camping, but I live close enough I don't have too.

Big Beautiful lake on both sides of states of Oklahoma and Texas. It has some of the best stripper fishing in the world, and some beautiful parks for swimming and camping. If around the Denison Dam area, near towns of Cartwright or Colbert on the 4th of July there is a huge firework show that you can participate in at... More

We visited several lakes in the DFW area and Lake Texoma is by far my favorite. This lake is the 12th largest Corps lake in the US with approx 89,000 acres surface area. The lake is very diverse, offering rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, islands and coves. The red river feeds into the lake from the West so the water on... More

We went out with Anthony of Anthony's guide service at lake Texoma on 10-21-14. Very professional, and awesome service. Anthony got us on the fish and worked his tail off. I highly recommend him for Striper fishing on lake Texoma. Reasonable and just a real nice guy and experience!

It's Texas in a drought right now so you shouldn't be surprised when the water level is low. The water level is low in my toilets right now it's that bad. That aside, the lake was still very usable for our group of 5. Any hazards were marked efficiently and there was more than enough open water to cruise around... More
