We went to Grafton to the Ghost town, the town was on the way to Zion National park. It was worth the stop there are a few buildings still there, a school house, another looked like a saloon, a little cabin and down the road...More

We love "abandoned America" and were looking forward to seeing these buildings. Sadly, they had been "restored" and several buildings had a fresh coat of paint. The cemetery was odd with many older graves having been replaced with shiny new ones. It was quite dull.

Our family visited Grafton on the way to Zion National Park. It was a little hard to find, but worth the time. It is a beautiful little ghost town. I had viewed several websites describing it and had thought that there would be more buildings....More

Just a short drive off the beaten path to and from Zion. Grafton has an interesting history and several buildings that were part of the original town have been reconstructed or rebuilt. There is a brochure with a map of the town and a couple...More

If you visit Zion and you are a fan of history or like to see a ghost town take an hour to head to Grafton. On route 9 right after you enter Rockville look for a small street called bridge street and follow signs for...More

We heard about Grafton while spending a few days in Springdale and decided to swing by on our way out of town. The cemetery was fascinating; a marker explains the significance of some of the graves, and really makes you think about how brave our...More

I realize this stop may not be for everyone, but my husband and I loved visiting Grafton. Being a fan of the movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," this was a must-see for me. Yes, there are only a few remaining buildings, but we...More

Stopped in on our way to Zion--like someone else had said I would only make the effort if I was on my way to Zion--I do not recommend going out of your way to see it. But do stop and make it a part of...More

We were returning from an atv tour which was just a few minutes from this town. Our guide recommended that we stop here since we were close by. It was not at all what I pictured in my mind of how it would look. There...More

I recommend visiting Grafton on your own. There are dirt roads, but they are not difficult to negotiate. There is no entrance fee.
