My husband and I spent our 36th wedding anniversary hiking the trails at Caledon State Park. The trails were clearly marked and well maintained. We saw bald eagles, herons, egrets, turtles, and lots of deer. Such a serene, beautiful place. The only negative was that...More

This location never fails to provide a great experience. The walk through the woodsy pathways and on the river side make this historical location even more special. Wonderful location for couples or a family walk. I will return.

Sorry for the flooding on the trail. We have that issue with sandy soil. We have had way too much rain lately, even before Matthew's remnants visited. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

The park has a kayak launch but it is pretty far from the parking lot. It is designed to support the canoe in campsites there which are more for folks who use it as a stop while canoeing or kayaking on the Potomac.
