The lincoln memorial is a favorite amongst my clients when it comes to engagement sessions. There are many angles to shoot from, and it's relatively empty early in the morning, to catch the sunrise. The reflecting pool in front is also a great backdrop.

This was one of those monuments you see dozens of pictures of and hope it doesn't disappoint. It is truly stunning especially at night. Even with crowds of people it is hard to not be impressed.

A must see sight for sure!! Once you get past the crowd it is GOREGEOUS, especially if the sky is making beautiful clouds in the background. (Right before sundown is a perfect time to go)

The Lincoln Memorial is so much bigger than you expect. And the views from it are beautiful. You look directly down the reflcting pool at the Washington monument. And don't miss walking around the top outside part. You get a beautiful view of the Potomac River, and a cool keyhole type view of Washington monument. See if you can find... More

Took our grandchildren to see the Lincoln Memorial and they were amazed of how big it is. It will take your breath away.

I make a point to head to this memorial every time I am here. The views from top in every direction is absolutely beautiful. People typically sit on the steps leading up to the memorial and relax, read, chat, etc. Annoying to weave through but still a good experience. Highly recommend!

City planners need to clean up the dreadful condition of the huge (and I do mean enormous) pool in order to give the stately quietude of Lincoln's repose the respect it deserves. Still a monument not to be missed.

This memorial appears to have been recently cleaned and the Monument is really spectacular. Was a little crowded but there is plenty of room

We had a stroller so I wasn't sure if I was able to take my kids up to the top of the memorial but they do have an elevator! just FYI
