It’s really too bad you can’t get up close. It’s closed for repair indefinitely. It was nice to see at sunset.

I love seeing the Washington Monument and the reflection pool and how it’s centrally placed. I mean in every direction you see something: Capitol Building, White House, Lincoln Memorial but I tell you EVERYTIME I visit DC this thing is closed and/or under construction. Couldn’t...More

Loved seeing this in person. We had a tour that gave us the history of it being built and it just added much more to the WOW factor. There were construction fences around at the time for restoration.

This monument. What can you say really it’s a very vice pice which is sort of a predominant marker in the memorial/mall area You can get a tour to the top but been not one for heights I stuck to the ground Very nice indeed

It's very beat to see. Can be very crowded especially during May when there are lot of school groups. It is currently under construction.

Typically cancellations are done at the Visitor Centrex or at the Park Rangers Office. I have seen it being done at Visitor Centrex in some places though I have not done it .
