I saw children from babies to teens totally engaged in the exhibits. There are lots of cool toys to bring home. This is a great family museum.

This is a great museum to visit if you love planes or anything to do with the skies or flying. I also loved looking at the history of the first aircraft and how we got to were we are today.

Last stop before home and saved best till last! Tour guide was great and he gave lots of good information. Made the time fly and enhanced our trip seeing all the highlights in under an hour. So much to see and get involved with. Fab.

The Space Museum was one of many stops during our tour of D.C. There are many interesting exhibits from early air travel to space travel. A must stop if you are in to air and space travel.

From the original Wright brothers plane the museum takes you through the history of flight and space exploration. Superb exhibits from every era accompanied by great narrative.

I see that strollers are allowed, but I am coming to D.C. by train and will use a backpack child carrier for my 2-year-old. Will I be able to carry her in it inside the museum?

I didn't see signage discouraging this types of carriers athough you will have to pass through a metal detector.
