We were walking along the creek it was very beautiful day. There were couple horseback riders and quite many people relaxing on christmas day. Some of the roads and parking lots are closed.

Rock creek park is close to cars on sunday's we had a blast riding through it. Definitely a must for cyclists or just commuter bikers.

So close to the city and accessible from various points. It's a must for nature lovers whether you have few hours or a whole day. You can forgot that you are in a city like DC at some locations here.

Within minutes you can walk trails and take bike paths surrounded by trees and away from the hustle of dc. A national and city treasure!
