My husband and I loved this place. My husband is retired military to being with and it is so moving to be here. This might not be good for small children, but for a little older ones that can understand it all. I would do some homework before going as well, it gives you a richer experience, but all in... We've driven past the Battleground National Cemetery may times before on Georgia Ave, but this was our first stop. The super small cemetery has an interesting history. Dedicated to the 40 soldiers who perished defending nearby Fort Stevens - the only Civil War battle to take place within DC. From the historical signs posted, the cemetery seems to have played...
