Although under renovations, the exterior continues to be beautiful. Wonderful area to explore with lots to do.

We had a very nice tour of the capitol last week. They are still working on the rotunda, but you are able to view the paintings. Interesting, and held the attention of our two kids.

While I have visited Dc many times, I had never visited the Capital. I was very impressed with the history and the architecture. I would say that the ongoing Rotunda construction was a big drawback. It is slated to end in early 2017 from info tour guide had. I really enjoyed the tour info shared and the wireless headphones were... More

Visited here to pay my respects to my local Congressional contingent. Amazing feeling walking around these corridors.

When you hear "Capitol Hill" you think slick lobbyists and preening congressmen and senators wasting your taxes and meddling in your lives. All true, but those folks don't actually live here, and they treat us even worse than they do you because at least they want your vote. Oh, us? We don't get to vote, or have any say at... More

I always hear about the politicians are having meeting in Capital Hill. Finally, I am in front of the building. The exterior is under renovation. However, it does not affect the grandness of the architectural. I am worth a visit !

You should make sure to take a quick stop to look at the wonderful architecture. It's generally not too crowded around here, either, so you may find some peace!

I'm British and interested in world affairs so it was interesting to see the place in person after seeing it so much on British TV news.
