Came upon the FDR memorial by chance and found it to be impressive and moving. If you visit, real take the time to reflect on his words - they are still so applicable today.

This memorial to FDR seems to be the most underrated memorial. I have been here a few times over the years and it is almost completely empty when I go. I'm saddened that more people do not see the wise, empathetic words of FDR. In...More

Much to see lots to interpret, and for that you need a guide to explain all that is involved in this fairly large memorial

This was by far my favourite of the monuments and the fountains were not even on - would live to see in the summer

I did not realize he was a four time elected president. I thought this was well done. Good combo of art and information.

This is a very detailed memorial, so be sure to set aside some time to explore it. Each "room" depicts a significant piece of history. Beautiful views of the Washington Monument right on the Potomac too.
