This is a great statue for taking photos. It is big enough to have people in his lap too. Really a nice tribute to the smart man!

Easy to miss as you approach the Lincoln Memorial or the Vietnam Memorial, but worth a quick side trip of only a few feet.

Riding round on a tour bus I spotted the statue to one side off The Mall. Bigger than I expected but not sure why it’s not more serious - didn’t realise Einstein was maybe a fun guy after all?! You can get up close and...More

After seeing a photo of this Memorial I wanted to visit myself. Enjoyed being able to sit on his lap and have my photo taken and I like the relaxed stance of his pose. Worth a visit which won't take too long.

I really dont know how to find it again as I was on a tour and we did a quick 5 minute walk by on the way to see the Cherry Blossoms in April. Would stop by again.

Statues that can be interacted with are the best ones. Einstein is friendly, invites interaction, and includes an encouragement to take pictures and post them with the hashtag #PhotosWithEinstein. We did. A delightful little destination after we were done with our day’s museum visit.

I went here as a kid and enjoyed exploring this and climbing it. You won't spend too much time here, but it is worth a quick stop over point just to check it out.

We went to this memorial because we had seen pictures of people climb up to touch Einstein's nose. Story tells it that if you rub his nose you will gain some of his intelligence. You can see the worn spot where others have touched. It...More

The Einstein Memorial is a hidden gem - though it's located on Constitution Avenue, it's easy to miss among all the other monuments and memorials. Although it's little more than a sculpture, this Memorial is done well. Unlike other memorials where you have to use...More
