It has a several small chapels/shrines of Our lady of immaculate conception, as worshiped by different people in different parts of the world. It has a great cafe as well

Really enjoyed our trip here. The last dome was just completed in 2017 December. There is a free tour also you can take. After the tour, we went on our own taking more photos. After that we checked out the gift shop and book store....More

Moving around in the Washington area between 4 to 6 pm is always a challenge. Public transport let's someone else do the driving.

It would be possible to visit both in the same day. You could arrange a tour for one in the morning and the other after lunch. I do not know if either place has picnic facilities. But you can get a reasonable cost... More
