I was surprised by how many chapels there were to the blessed mother. Each one celebrates a different experience or culture. They are on the main floor and lower level. I lost count, there were so many. Take the time to quietly read and pause...More

Love going here for Mass, for reflection, for prayer, for the beauty of honoring our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we visited in January, they were still under refurbishment of the main dome. It was still an amazing church. Noon mass was in the catacombs and it was amazing down there.

This is a difficult site to review because how you view it will depend in important respects on who you are and why you are here. This is a more modern basilica on the grounds of Catholic University. It is a short walk from the...More

There are many areas as well as another floor in the Basilica. We had a tour while there was a high school graduation mass in the main church.
Is there a good place for lunch or brunch nearby? Would like to do lunch after mass on Sunday. Thx.
