We had the pleasure of taking the Segway Smithsonia tour yesterday with Rick. This was three and a half hours of informative fun and excitment. The tour covered the entire mall and most of the the major tourist attractions. We were able to get on and off our Segways, take pictures, and even enjoy a cup of coffee with our... More

Tour guide Rick was terrific. It was just the two of us and i had a great time on the Segway. It was my first experience on one and i found it very easy to use. My wife didnt take to it so she stayed behind. Rick refunded the money for her. Absolutely give it a try.

We took the tour on March 9 with Lee. It was great! He was extremely knowledgeable about every single aspect of the tour. It was about 3 hours and covered every part of the national mall, White House and parts of the tidal basin. They are located inside the museum entrance (I actually thought they were outside th building). Segways... More

Our guide, Rick, was very helpful and patient in training us on how to use the segway. After a few minutes of learning how to get on, go forward, navagate, and stop, we were on our way. He made sure to check with us often to confirm that we were confident with crossing intersections and using the sidewalks or dirt/gravel... More

We scheduled a 3 hour tour with Rick starting from the Smithsonian-American History Museum. After a quick video of what not to do we were able to get a lesson on how to ride. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to ride and navigate even over bumps. Added bonus each Segway had a front pouch that fit... More

Lee was our tour guide....a fabulous tour guide he is!!! Lee was super informative, super interesting, so kind, so patient (as my kids got the hang of the Segway quite easily, me, their mother, however, needed a lot more guidance.... )and so witty, he made it so enjoyable!!! We thoroughly recommend The Smithsonian Tour by Segway. It was so fun... More

While visiting DC with two friends we took the 3 hour Segway tour. I've been to DC once before - it took two days, admittedly with several kids in tow, to visit just some of the sights we saw in three hours. The main DC attractions are "on" the mall, but the mall is HUGE with lots of walking between... More
