My husband and I visited DC for the first time. We were with friends who had been before. They suggested the segway tour and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive. Boy were we wrong! This was fantastic. We were able to see so much of DC on our tour. Our guide Rick was the best. He offered a... More

I had such a brilliant experience using the Segway in washinton DC. We did the evening tour and it was brilliant, it does last three hours!! I'm late 50's and my partner is 60 so dont let age get in the way of a great experience!! It's so easy. It was very cold and you would need to dress warm... More

We've been to Washington many times but we saw more in the three hour Segway tour than ever before. We went with friends who had not been to the city and they were thrilled with getting to all the monuments along the mall in our first morning. It left plenty of time for museums the rest of the weekend, and... More

My husband recently had a conference in DC and did not have a lot of time to enjoy the attractions. The one thing that he was able to fit in at the conclusion of his conference was the Segway Tour of the monuments. The tour was two hours long and we loved every second of it. It was a great... Did the "Hop on Hop off bus" as we always do when touring a new city and were really let down as it was just a recording instead of a real tour guide. We found it boring and frustrating sitting in traffic and having to wait up 30 minutes for another route if you changed busses. The following day decided... More

We lucked out with our spur of the moment Segway tour. Our guide, Dan, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. My husband couldn't believe how easy it is to ride the Segway! We were able to see so much more of the mall and Dan pointed out items we would never even notice. It is nice to have a small group... More

The Smithsonian Segway tour I was on was fabulous. The tour was well planned, with just the right number and diversity of stops. The our guide, Rick, was extremely knowledgeable and presented the information in a terrific manner. He also knew how to train us on the Segway and watch out for us on the trip. This was my 2nd... My husband had to twist my arm (not literally) to get me to agree to this, and it was only after reading others' reviews. We had planned on another Segway tour, but they were filled up the weekend we wanted and happily we stumbled upon this tour, conveniently located outside the Museum of American History. Lee patiently explained how the... More

It was a blast riding a Segway. Rick, our tour guide, was fantastic! He even took pictures of all of us in front of the White House and other monuments with our own phones/cameras, and they all turned out perfect! He was very interesting and knew lots of facts and fictions about DC. Segway is easy to ride and fun.... More

After much research I found this 3 hour tour to offer more by including the Smithsonian area. The group is small 4-6 people so allows for more questions and moves easier, as a larger group take longer to maneuver through people walking and keep together. The tour covered 8 miles of monuments, White House, Capital, National Mall, among other sites.... More
