Full of History and Information, this Museum finds its home in the ruins of the old Railroad Station used many years ago during the Cotton trade! Reconditioned, the building itself is historic and charming to see as are the many historical items of wars gone...More

We have been to the museum several times, they have a great collection of military items from several different eras. If you are in the Athens area and you like military items then you need to visit. Great people working there and very knowledgeable.

This Veterans museum is located in an old Depot. I was really impressed at the vast collection of memorabilia that they have. I appreciate the attention paid to female veterans, sometimes that gets forgotten. You have to visit and listen to the Veterans that volunteer...More

What a lovely little museum! They have done an awesome job of displaying their military memorabilia. I especially liked the WWII era kitchen. I prefer this type of museum rather than the new ones that tell you the story and have just a few items...More

Just a terrific display of military historic memorabilia. You alway to yourself to go and see. The staff is helpful courteous and enjoys all visitors.

Since my husband is a veteran and war buff we really enjoyed going thru this museum. The staff is very friendly and they had each war together with pictures and items that have been donated. very interesting, I will see if there are more of...More
