I was staying in Ash Fork and had planned to visit the museum on the morning of my departure. Opening hours show 9 am but at 9,30 gate was still locked. We missed out, sadly. Another vehicle waiting also drove off.

I only stopped in Ash Fork as I needed fuel and I found this little unspoiled Town. The museum and tourist information were closed and it looks permanent. The town looks like time stopped when the Interstate opened. It a little treasure and some locals...More

This is a wonderful museum in Ash Fork on route 66/business 40 through Ash Fork on the West side of Ash Fork. Staffed by volunteers with nice exhibits. Definitely worth up to an hour to see exhibits or spend more time in the archives.

The Ash Fork museum was very worthwhile to visit, very interesting, and had a very good docent guiding us through the museum. We learned a lot about the area with our visit. Glad we went there.

Went there on a Friday, the boson Will was friendly and informative. A great history of Ash Fork including the school room area. There were pictures of my mom and other artifacts. They also have a fantastic kachina exhibit. Sadly, many of the historic buildings...More
